A prominent Malaysian blogger has been summoned by the police for questioning over allegedly seditious remarks about Islam and the king. The summons for Raja Petra Kamarudin, who runs the Malaysia Today website, comes amid warnings from a senior government minister that “irresponsible” bloggers could face imprisonment without trial.
